Passing to create deep space

Quick, short passes look great and are impressive as they demonstrate your team's ability to play quick, knock-about hockey but does it really help them to get up the pitch? Sometimes your team needs to grab the game by the scruff of the neck and create deep space - running into space - looking to receive that penetrating pass to create breakaway chances.

What's in the session?

That's precisely what this session aims to do.

By getting your players to practice transferring the ball, running into space and passing under pressure you'll be able to get them to play hard and accurate passes to one another - as the off the ball players make exciting runs into space, looking to receive the deep pass.
