DESCRIPTION

FULL CONTACT Defenders (Blue) start by moving in and out of the flags (side stepping) As they reach the last flag the attacker with tackle shield or tackle suit can move forward. The defender then has to adjust his feet according to which way the attack moves (straight/left/right towards them. Â

COACHING POINTS

Main Focus Feet - short sharp steps through out the drill Shoulders square Arms/Hands - Hands up, Elbows tucked in punching through and wrapping the target Head - cheek to cheek, eyes up sighting the core throughout out the tackle drive the legs
