Community | Standard Attacking Lineout (Ruck Generation)

Jeremy Hoover Coach, United States of America

DESCRIPTION

Ball flows off the top to 9, to 10, to the Violence runner. 9 and 10 move in concert quickly to the next phase, with a 3 second ruck sending the ball to the second pod with an overload advantage.

COACHING POINTS

Violence runner has to be disciplined, not straying too far wide because he thinks he can break the line. Last man in Linout hustles to ruck the 1st pod. This is standard shape. There are innumerable ways to generate additional advantage.
