Coach feeds ball in to 3 defenders on the 23m. They attempt to carry the ball over the halfway line.
If the attacking team get back possession, the defenders give them 5m and they attack the goal.
Left an right sides alternate.
- hunt in a pack to win the ball back. Think about how we limit the space when playing the press.
- Advance the ball forward, fast. Avoid taking into contact.
- Support players in the D. Can we play it around the goalkeeper. Look for rebounds etc.
- Defenders: try to slow down the attack. Encourage the players to hold onto the ball and carry away from goal.
