Defender A passes out wide to the attacker who trues to dribble passed defender B. Defender A tries to get back in to position to help create a defensive overload.
Defender B is trying to slow the attacker until support arrives. This means making yourself a barrier by being in a defensive 'ready' position and using your body shape to stop the attacker from having a direct route to goal.
Defender A is looking to track back to help their teammate.
Neither defender should rush and dive into a tackle!!!
