Great site. An absolute must for coaches who are willing to change...
Ignatius

DESCRIPTION

  1. GK kicks out to one of the three attackers outside the D.
  2. Receiver becomes A1, begins attack.
  3. Closest defender becomes D1.
  4. D1 engages A1 to give CM time to get back inside the D to support the defence.
  5. Normal play attack v defence. Attack wins by scoring a goal, defence win by clearing the ball off the side.

COACHING POINTS

Focus of the drill is on quick reaction from the D1 and Centre Mid to prevent attacking options until there is a 3 on 3.
