Exercise 1 - Forehand hitting on the move.
Here the children will receive the ball and then drive into the circle and hit the ball, the idea is that the speed generated from them running is transferred to the ball, a hard hit low in the corner is the best in this exercise. (To make sure they hit the ball cleanly they should hit through the ball towards the goal instead of rotating to the left which many children do).
Exercise 2 - Scoring with a turn.
Firstly the players will drive towards the white cones and then do a turn where they will pass the ball using this technique, having the ball in the hook of their stick will make it easier. Once the next player gets the ball they will do the same but instead, score with the turn instead of passing.
Exercise 3 - Scoring with pushing.
This is a fun exercise where they will pass the ball wide then towards the circle and this player will drive towards the goal and score with a push. A sheet will be hung in the goal for the players so they really have to place their shot perfectly so it goes through the holes.
