Form a square using cones or the lines of the field.
Each player has a ball and dribbles the ball around in the circle. Coach dribbling technique (e.g. left arm up as if you have a parrot on it).
On the whistle blast, everyone must try hit other hockey balls out the square while protecting their ball at the same time.
The final player in the square with the ball is the winner.
Don't do "tuk-tuk" - continuously hitting the ball while dribbling - coach the players to keep the ball on their stick.
Players standing still will automatically be eliminated.
If players are taking to long to hit other hockey balls out the square, send in a "defender" whose sole purpose is to hit the players hockey balls out the square.
