DESCRIPTION

Defending the opposition player without hastily going in for a tackle in order to mimnimize their attacking options 

  • 2x defenders to be positioned inside the box
  • 2x attackers to be positioned on the outside of the box, on opposite ends
  • Attackers to carry the ball around the box towards the other attacker and make a pass when close.
  • The next attacker is to carry the ball around the box to the other attcker and make a pass
  • Defenders are to defend the attacker closest to their station

COACHING POINTS

  • Defendersare not to engage attackers until certain that they can turnover the possession
  • Attackers are to use closed skills in order not to lose/turnover the ball to the attackers
  •
