DESCRIPTION

  • Blue player passes to red player, sprints round longer orange route
  • Red player drives with ball around shorter yellow route
  • When red player reaches blue starting place, plays ball on move across to red player
  • Repeat process
  • Blue player trying to get ball across before red reaches gate
  • Red player trying to get to point before ball reaches it

COACHING POINTS

  • High intensity sprint work
  • Drive with ball out in front taking as few touches as possible
  • Hands away from body adds to balance
