Progression: throw and catch tennis ball while practicing footwork

Shout out North, South, East or West. GK to move to point and come to ‘set’ position at each point, always return to centre, always facing coach.

Stay in ‘ready position’ throughout drill: hands up, knees bent, head over toes, stay on balls of feet, don’t drag feet
