Chase your own pass

Set up 5 equal groups of players, one group on each sideline and 3 in the middle. Have several balls with both groups of sideline players. Player 1 starts the drill with a pass to player 2. Player 2 runs out to meet the pass and then passes it on to player 3 who passes to player 4 who finishes with a shot on goal. Immediately after passing though player 1 must chase down their own pass, making sure they're in a position to block the shot when blue 4 is in possession. Players in the middle rejoin the back of their own lines after receiving the pass/shooting. Sideline players join the back of the line on the opposite side of the court after blocking the shot.

Two teams try to score by bringing the ball across one of the two lines.Both teams may score on both sides.When scored; the team in possession must try to score at the other line. Scorin twice on the same side is not allowed.

Two opposing equal sides both start on the baseline of the area with 3 balls on the center line (half as many balls as there are players). On the coach's call players sprint to try and collect the ball and claim it for their team. Once in possession of the ball players are trying to hit the opposition's cones whilst at the same time protecting their own cones. The winning team is the first team to hit all of their opponent's cones.

Number game

Before the game starts both teams number themselves from 1 - 5 (or more dependant on number of players). The team in possession must then pass the ball around in a numeric order whilst trying not to lose possession The team in possession scores a point when all players on their team have had the ball once. Meanwhile the other team tries to intercept the ball.

The player in possession dribbles towards their defender until they are face to face with them. Once facing the defender they must try and shuffle, run and push past their maker.

5 vs 5 game (can be played with or without goals).Game 1:Possession keeping game where all passing is with the hands by throwing and catching. Teams score a point for every 10 passes they make without losing the ball.Game 2:Alternatively you can play this game with goals. All passes must be made with the hands (players can't run with the ball in hand) and players can only score with a header.

Maximum Passing - 30 seconds 2...

Two equal teams play inside a half court area. The aim of this game is to see which team can play the most passes in a 30 second period! The blue team go first and keep count of how many successful passes they complete. If the other team intercept/tackle the player in possession they must put the ball on the floor for the other team to pick up and continue playing. After 30 seconds swap teams and repeat.

Attacker throws the ball to feeder player in the middle. They then run forward and feint past the defender without the ball before running the other way around the receive the return ball back from the feeder. The attacker then finishes the move with a shot on goal.

Playing inside half a court with a large mat in the center players try to press the ball onto the mat in order to score a point for their team. After scoring the ball must be played to a player on the opposite team on the side line and then start the attack again ( quick throw off imitation).

Players from both lines run forwards at the same time, with the ball carrier crossing over in front of the other player. When the players cross over they should switch the ball between them. At this point the player in possession should try and get around the defender to get a clear shot off on goal.

Players move along the throw off line when passing. One player moves forward and the other moves backward. When the trainer whistles, the player in possession of the ball dribbles to the goal. The other player becomes the defender and tries to prevent a goalshot.

This is a game which requires two teams of 4 (in the diagram two games are being played simultaneously). Two teams of three play inside the area, with one player from each team on the outside. The teams inside should pass around so that everybody inside the area touches the ball at least once. Once everyone on a team has touched the ball they should then try to pass to the player outside the area. If they do this they score 1 point. If they receive the return pass from the player they receive another 1 point.
