One A starts with the ball. She passes to her partner who has made a move to get past a defender. First A then moves, taking on the other defender to receive the ball back from her partner, a 1-2 passing pattern. A then passes to another A at the front of the opposite line to where she started. Defenders mark tightly. Working As line up at the back of the opposite line to where they started. New As repeat.

1. Double cut back: WA runs one way, stops abruptly and changes direction before again changing direction for a second time to go and meet the pass. 2. Cut back: WA runs one way, stops quickly - changes direction and runs into space to meet the pass. 3. Double bluff: WA runs and stops, making it look as though they are going to cut back before continuing their run in the direction they were already running to meet the pass.

The challenge in this game is for the attacking players to use the extra player to help them score.  

Using the width of a third create 3 lines either side of the third (a minimum of 12 players is required for this drill to be effective)  The first row of 3 (RED) will have one ball and work it to the other side (1, 2, 3) The ball is passed off to the next set of 3 who will do the same (4) HOWEVER the 3 players who were just attacking (RED) will now defend the next set of 3 who they just passed the ball too NOTE: The GREEN players who have just defended will go behind the BLUE and get ready for their turn to attack

Dividing the court in half lengthways and widthways, players are aiming to get the ball from a backline throw into the centre third. Simple 3 vs 3. The player starting the drill is a GK and so cannot enter the centre third.

One ball, 1/3 space, 6 players. 4 feeders form a square. 1 defender and 1 attacker work in the middle of the square. Attacker is to pass and recieve one short pass and one long pass from each corner. 

1/3 court (shooting circle), 3 cones, 2+ players, 2 balls.  1. Player starts on the cone near the sideline and drives towards the two cones set up side by side midway across the court. 2. Player makes a 'figure of 8' around the cones and drives towards the circle edge.  Progression 1:Ball to be recieved on the circle edge. Progression 2: Add another drive to the pocket.   

Partners, 1/2 court space, 3 cones 1. Worker side steps between two cones, then presents body in a strong front on postion ("skinny skinny fat"). 2. Bring in 1 defender. 3. Bring in 2 defenders.

The winger players passes the ball into the centre and then runs to the first blue cone The winger then cuts inside and receives the ball back at the top of the D As the winger receives the return pass the player in the D cuts outside and in to receive the ball, before taking a shot.

2 feeders, 2 attackers (WA, C) and 2 defenders and a GS set up as shown. Attackers have to get the ball to the circle edge and then in to the GS The feeders can swing the ball (pass between themselves)

GA and WA start on the line squeezing their defenders into the middle. This opens up space to run into Has to be two options therefore both players have to sprint off the line on the whistle. Suggestion for player order could be  WA – C— GA – GS

Set up: A wall, one third space, one ball, 4+ cones, 2 players. 4 cones are set up in a zig zag formation down the length of a third space towards a wall. The ball is placed on the furthest away cone.  A defending player stands in the middle of the cones, they are to ‘pick up’ the attacker when they drive out. The attacker, drives out towards the first cone and zig zags towards all cones to move past the defender and get the ball off the cone. The attacker passes the ball to the wall and gets the rebound. 

3-5 players, 1 ball, 1/2 court space. 1 player, the feeder stands on the third line with the ball. The other two players (workers) stand about 3 metres away facing away from the feeder. The workers jog away from the feeder. When the feeder calls "turn" or "go" both workers turn and drive towards the ball in anticipation to catch the pass.  The feeder can choose either players to pass the ball to. This can be set up with two sets of workers and the feeder can alternate between each set of partners. 

C passes back to GD – delivers a straight pass to WA – GS comes out of circle to receive pass in goal third – GS passes to C at top of circle – C passes into GA to put up shot.

C back to WD – Straight pass to GA – GS comes out of circle to receive pass in goal third from GA – GS passes to C at top of circle – GS receives straight pass from C in front of hoop.

On receiving the ball from the feeder player 1 turns. Players 2 and 3 should both make strong sideways movements in opposite directions, the defender can go either way. Player 1 must try and pass to the unmarked player as quickly as possible.

*AUDIO DESCRIPTION ON*  4+ players set up on half court.  One stationary feeder to set up in front of the centre circle with the ball.  One defender to hover just inside the shooting third. Two attacking players, one from each sideline, run to meet in the middle, high five and then run out in a "V" to space. Defender to pick up either of the attackers. Feeder delivers the ball to the free attacker. They are to then pass to the attacker with the defender on them. The attacker needs to work hard to receive this pass on the circle edge.  Play the ball back with the defender receiving the next pass and back to feeder. 

End drill – Feeding into circle Set up: four corners of 2-3 players, 1 ball, goal third end of court. Aim for the two groups of players on transverse line to hit the circle edge and feed ball into the circle to a shooter with a defending player. Bottom left corner (A) player drives out along sideline. Receives a pass from the defending player in the circle. Player from top left corner (B) drives straight into the court to receive a pass from the sideline player.  Player B passes back to player A and drives towards the circle edge where player A delivers a long ball to player B as close to the circle edge they can get. Player A joins line where player A started. Player from top right corner (C) drives to circle edge to help feed pass into player D who has driven from bottom right corner into the circle as shooter.  Player B joins line player C started in. After player C delivers final pass to shooter, player C joins bottom right corner. Essentially, all players rotate anticlockwise around the 4 corners. 

Variation Feeder throws the ball against the wall. 2 players compete fo the rebound.

*AUDIO DISCRIPTION ON* Set up: 1 ball, one third space, 1 feeder in between 2 lines of partners. Two players to drive out straight from baseline to top of the circle (approx.) they turn and drive out on a V to the side channels where the feeder passes ball to one of the drivers.  The driving player who did not receive the ball is to cut back to the top of the circle (middle channel) and receive pass from their partner.  The partner now without the ball cuts back into the middle channel to receive a straight pass from their partner. Ball is returned to stationary feeding player.
