DRILL TYPE: Ball and Racquet A fun activity for children to get used to hold their racquet. SETUP: One the other side of the net, place hula hoop on the court. Place 4 different color cones for the players to stand behind. MISSION: One players at a time from each team, walks up to the net, balancing a bean bag or ball on their racket strings, then flings it over the net and try to get it to land in the hoops for points. The team with the most amount of points wins. PROGRESSION: Once they have mastered this technique, move to the balls. Make it in a competitive game. TIPS: Explain to the players to work slowly and not to rush. SAFETY: Ensure players are well spread out.
