DRILL TYPE: Motor Skills A fun game to work on the children motor skills. 1. Setup a hopscotch pattern on the court using poly spots for the children to follow. 2. The coach stands several feet in front of the hopscotch pattern facing the children. 3. When the children complete the pattern, they should land on both feet. 4. Then the coach can roll or bounce a ball to either side of the child, who moves to trap or catch it and then rolls, tosses or throws it back to the coach or at a target. Tips: 1. Explain to the children to go slowly through the patterns. Safety: 1. Ensure children are well spread out.
