Drills to work on punt kicking skill
Drill A: Player starts at white cone, takes 2 steps forward and kicks ball at the green cone with the follow through to the yellow cone and finish at the red cone.
Drill B: Same skill as Drill A but coach calls left, right or straight for kick direction. Option to have player turn around then make each kick.
Kicker should target space on the field not a defender.
Drop ball to foot from waist height, keep shoulders over the ball, kick on the end of the ball with instep and follow through motion after contact.
