am i old enough to start a local rugby school for kids aged 8-10 (non contact). im 16 got experience as ive been playing for 5 years and have done a number of general fitness and athletics awards so i no how teach and coach kids.
I would think you need to be 18. I would suggest you contact your county Rugby Development Officer (RDO) and seek his/her advice rather than asking here.
What county are you in?
If I was you, I would contact your local rugby club and ask to assist and gain experience there before starting out yourself.
To be honest though, as a father of 2 young children myself, I really wouldn't be happy to leave my son or daughter with a 16yr old. Thats no personal attack on you, I wouldn't leave them with anyone under 21 and who wasn't accompanied by another responsible adult.

Dennis has given you some good advice here. It is wonderful that you are keen to coach but you do need to get qualified.
There is a Rugby Leaders course you can do and your local rugby club coaching development officer or your PE teacher should be able to advise you.
Good luck!
