Why coach the "B" side separately to the A side? For that matter, why split the squad for training purposes at all? Mix all the boys in together, and the fact they are being trained alongside the "A" players, with the "A team" coaches as well, might boost all your players, as well as challenging the A squad to perform.
I agree with both of the above but I would also stress the importance of selecting drills that all players get involved with no matter of normal position. These drill must emphasize moving the ball away from the contact point one or two passes, also keep recycling. This I can promise will eventually change you young peoples attitude and stop those going nowhere mangles that to often ruin youth rugby games.
