Hi would anyone have drills for a scrum half position. Passing of the ball both ways, quick ball, box kicking ect.
A lot of the skill sets for the SH are closed skills i.e. SH pass, box kick etc.
I would suggest just getting your SH's aware of the techniques of the pass, kick and just let them practice with each other and maybe with your 10's for ranging purposes. Get them aiming at both static and moving targets both off the floor and when handed the ball.
As soon as the players are confident with the techniques of the passing, start putting them under a bit of pressure. I like putting pressure on my 9 & 10 where the 9 has to put a pass for the 10 to drop goal kick from, with a player chasing down. The pressure on the 9 comes from making it an accurate pass, the pressure on the 10 is setting up the drop kick and accuracy of kick with a chase down.
