Hi Simon, I was wondering if it was possible to do the course online or through corespondence, im at a stage where im looking at looking for a sevens coaching position overseas and the qualification would give me more experience. The thought of even coming to the uk or somewhere where they hold the course just to do it is something i am thinking of doing Cheers Dion
Dion, I am afraid that I think you may have to think of doing the 7's coaching course in another country if NZ don't run them. I have asked the Training Manager of the IRB if there any alternatives for you. If there is another way I will let you know but I think that going elsewhere may be the only option. Simon
Dion,
I met with Mark Harrington who is the IRB Training Manager and he has told me that Lee Smith is running a pilot of the course in Adelaide 3-5th April. He suggests you contact Lee direct (you can email Lee at ...link in profile... as he is the IRB Regional Development Manager for Australia and NZ) to see if you can access the course.
Good luck with this.
Simon
