Can you pull a ball carrier down by the jersey?

Can you pull a ball carrier down by the jersey? If all you can get ahold of is the players shirt tail can you hold on and drag them down to the ground?

Yes Todd. Tackling a player by pulling on his shirt is fine - the only time there is a problem is if the tackler grabs the collar of the shirt and pulls from behind - that would be deemed a high tackle. Simon
