At u13 age group is it good to be playing a game every weekend or should it be staggered with training?
Think games generate enthusiasm in players but at that age skills and game based training is key. If games are in place of training then I would suggest 1 game per month maximum. Ideally training and games do not interfere with each other in which case regular games against varying opposition (every 2 to 3 weeks) probably commencing some 4 to 6 weeks into the season would sound about right to me.
