How do you afitness test on your players to see how fit the are.
Hi Mario,
You're asking a big question here! There's a lot of variables to take into account such as the age of your players, what type of fitness you want to test (strength, endurance, agility?), is the fitness type you're testing for relevant to their position and what will you do with the results?
The beep test (search online for more information) is always a popular running exercise as are pyramid running exercises, where players must run between cones placed at varying lengths, stopping and changing direction regularly.
For more ideas on running drills you could try with your players have a look in our Agility and Running Skills section.
Hope this helps and good luck with your coaching!
All the best,
