Description
In partners get your players to move round each other, passing with 1 hand round the "back of their hand".
Coaching points
Purpose is to replicate offloading skills in a tackle.
- Look for the receiver
- Keep a straight arm
- Push the hand and arm on an upwards direction to give accuracy
Progression:
Continue with the same passing method in lines of 4. Players jog forwards to pass the ball and then jog backwards after passing to be ready to receive.
When passing reaches the opposite end, change direction.
