DESCRIPTION

Backs attack centres crash ball options.

COACHING POINTS

Option #1 is a direct crash line by #12. #10 runs up and across to draw opposing defenders then passes to #12. The #12 is looking to attack space around his opposing #12. The supporting backs should set up in a compressed formation to provide close support if a line break happens.

Option #2 is a crash line by the #13. The #10 runs an up and across line to draw the two closest defenders, the #12 runs a dummy support line for the #10. The #10 either passes flat across the #12 or in behind the #12 to the #13. The backs should set up in a wider formation. The #13 should look to attack outside his opponent with the #15 and wing in support or inside the opposing #13 with our forwards in support.
