DESCRIPTION

  • Stage 2 has 2 options, 1st option (Rhino) is to feed big front five player up middle of field
  • Front row and 2nd row have lined up outside no.10
  • Blindside and other second row have lined up wide left outside no.13
  1. After fullback, no.7 and no.8 have clear ruck out wide, no.9 feed outside half
  2. Outside half then picks out one of the runners to hit up in midfield with other close forward rucking to get quick ball

COACHING POINTS

KEY:     RED = FORWARDS

            BLUE = BACKS

  • Outside half calls Rhino to forwards to let them know are getting the ball
  • Fowards in midfiled lined up stagered with outside player the most flat. This way Outside half has option to hit any of the runners
  • Forwards need to run at pace together so defence cant focus on one runner
