DESCRIPTION

  • Dynamic stretching for the captian to lead, ephasis on working in sync

  • General passing drills to get the hands warmed up and thinking about playing rugby. Start off with basic passing down the line. Progress to 1-3, 2-4.
  • Coaching points, hands up read to recieve the pass, shout for the ball, look at where you're passing to.

  • Physicality drills to build up to the main session. Everyone gets in pairs in press up position, first one to knock other persons hands away wins. Again in pairs, left hand of each person holds the wrist and attempt to touch their face whilst partner is trying to stop them - all building up the physicality for rucking session.
