On the whistle, the first player runs forward and passes the ball to their left, while the receiving player runs forward but stays behind the first player. Hands are up making a target for the 1st player. When the 2nd player receives the ball, the 1st player realigns their position so that they can receive the ball back if needed.
The 2nd player (now the ball carrier) runs forward and passes the ball to the 3rd player, repeating the same steps as player 1. Repeat this until the ball has made it to the last player. The last player then passes the ball to 1st player in the new line standing on the 22ml line.
