Phase 1- to begin with athletes will carry out a warm up in order to prepare their bodies for the exercise to come. firstly we will carry out a pulse raiser e.g. lap of field followed by some dynamic stretches.
phase 2- the athletes will now begin to play a game of touch focusing on creating space. this will allow for both Lucy and I to observe the athletes passing techniques and ability to make decisions both in an attacking form and defensive.
phase 3 - we will move the athletes to two small grids designed to improve the ability of individuals to perform passes at a rapid rate. during this activity four athletes will be placed on the corner of a rectangle, whilst two athletes are placed in between who will constantly work up and down the grid for a 1-2 minute period making them process movements quickly and shift passes at a fast rate.
