5 Red Hats placed 5 meters apart in a loop shape.
1 Yellow Hat
Player with a ball at one end of the red hats, will walk from one end of the red to the other.
Tackling Player on the yellow hat, will tackle red player,from side on, ( walk through once
to ensure proper, technique and insure cheek to cheek)
change runners end each time.
After safety technique are being used by defence player, have the
runner up their speed to a half pace run.
When the players have the defence down pat
then give them a tennis ball in each hand,
Teach them to tackle with out grabbing with hands.
Tackling Technique is Vital for all players,
Bad techniques will bring injury to the players,
Correct tackling technique is as follows

focus on target aria “ midsection” ( HIPS UP TO BELLY)
place arms in the right positioning, ( ready to grab)

lead with leg
shoulder hits target aria
arms wrap around midsection
drive with legs
finish on top of the tackled player
