DESCRIPTION

1. Blue player (defender) passes to yellow player (attacker)

2. Yellow player receives going forward to try and attack through one of two goals. 

3. Ball must be under control when scoring. 3 points for cut inside elimination. 1 point for speed down sideline elimination. 

4. If defender wins or knocks it out of play, they earn a point. 

COACHING POINTS

1. Defenders approach line to protect attacker from cutting to inside goal.

2. Fluid receiving in motion by attacker to get forward with speed into space.

3. Using change of direction with ball.


Variations:

  • Play the initial 1v1 and then 2v2. First pair will just need to stay in. Increase length of field if congested.
