DESCRIPTION

This drill is to help get the body shape right for passing and recieving.

  1. The ball starts at the orange cone and is passed from one player to the next.
  2. Each player follows their pass once it is completed. 
  3. Each group should swop to a different block after a few rounds.

COACHING POINTS

Passing on the forehand

  • Pass under the shoulder to the right.
  • Turn the hips slightly on the pass to the left.

Recieving on the forehand

  • Recieve the ball across the body when passed from the left 
  • Recieve the ball behind the right foot when passed from the right.
  • Stay in a low body postion with the stick close to the ground
  • Open body stance
