To start with there should be a defensive overload (3 defenders vs 2 attackers). The defenders aim is to win the ball and take it back to the 25 yard line. Attackers can only go down the coned channel, to start encouraging them to attack wide. Attackers aim is to try and score in the goal. One defender should push the attacker on the ball wide and track them along the line- don't let them dive in! A defensive team mate should then step up onto the line and make a block tackle using the correct technique. To start the drill an attacker must feed the ball into a defender and then receive it back. The high attacker must start in the circle to give some stretch to the game and replicate a high forward.
