1.) Players should stay on their forehand the whole time and it should be a push dribble. The roll out should be to stop the defender being able to reach the ball if they were to tackle. They should have their eyes up the whole time and be looking forwards. It is important they go to the left hand side of the cones first as this is the defenders strong side and they are less likely to be able to get the ball if they roll onto the defenders weak side and carry hard.
Encourage them to use their leg to drive and push through the defenders stick on the right side. The players body should always be between the ball and defender. Look to roll into space and the first touch should be taking the ball into the players stride and to where they want to go accelerate pace during the roll out
