There are two main options when it comes to outletting, back four or back three. 

Back four: great for younger/less experienced teams

Back three: great for extending players, can be a very attacking set up

COACHING POINTS

It is important to have players in the freeman/sweeper and Centre back role that have the following qualities; good vision, accuracy, decision making, consistency, speed.
