DESCRIPTION

Goal: repeat 2V1 wide prinicple

Exercise
* 2 groups each work on 1 side
* each side 2 goals: A and B
* exercise starts with autoplay from side line. 
* team 1 tries to score in goal A or B. They can pass ball in goal if they are 2 stick length away from goal.
* one defender from team 2, other one on the midline. If defender gets ball he plays to his team mate over midline= change of teams. Then team 2 attacks, team 1 defends. 
* End game: which team scores the most goals in 3 minutes? 

NB 1: if one team constantly defends then change them as trainer or maybe make new couples.
NB 2: it already looks a bit like a zig zag attack = how to score. This way they start recognizing it. 

COACHING POINTS

2V1 wide principle

Goal = to get passed opponent by tempting/luring him into get the ball 

 

HOW: 

- stay far away from each other (reason opponent can’t catch up with pass).

- ball receiver stays behind the ball for a square pass (reason: now he is out of the reach of the opponent + can run onto ball) 

- player with ball commits opponent. No opponent then accelerate and get passed him themselves.

- If opponent commits= pass to team mate

- if ball receiver receives ball his feet are already towards goal to accelerate forward
