GROUPS OF AT LEAST 5
The defender (blue) will start on the baseline and the attacker (yellow) will start at the top of the triangle.
The attacker will take a ball and attempt to reach the baseline
If the attacker is tackled, they will need to run back to the start and get a ball and continue towards the baseline. The defender can continue to run towards the top of the triangle and shut them down.
If the defender commits a foul, the defender has to run back to the baseline and start again. Similarly, if the attacker beats the defender to the line, a new attacker enters and the defender has to run to the start before they can tackle.
The overall aim of the drill:
DEFENDER: Make a tackle at the top of the point of the triangle
ATTACKERS: Get all attackers across the baseline
Defenders will swap out after a full rotation.
