Dribbling (10 min)
Goal: grip + basic position + stick steer
- couples; one on 1 end turf, other on other end
- ball at first cone ON RIGHT SIDE
- sign coach= run to ball - pick up ball - slalom to blue cone and back with ball over line around your cone.
- Restriction: you can only use your Fore hand
- ball back at first cone ON LEFT SIDE + start again
Variation:
- not around blue cone back, but all way to other line.
- relay against each other. Who is first?
- couple relay. Which couple is first
Grip:
V grip, hands apart
Basic position:
- hands loose from body
- Left hand in front right leg = railway beam in front of you
- elbow-hand stick 1 straight line = stick 45 degree with ground= Manawatu river in between
- ball right in front of you
Stick steer:
left hand away from you or to you
