Blue player is trying to score into the red goal positioned down their right. Blue player starts in the opposite corner to the goal and the defender starts in the goal. The ball must be dribbled through the goal.
The defender needs to arc their run to force the attacker onto their front stick.
Get a stick length away from the attacker before tackling and don't dive in, SHADOW the attacker.
Stand side on to make stepping into the tackle easier.
Use jab tackles to get the attackers head down and force a mistake and use a block tackle to win the ball.
