Attacker receives the ball in 3 different spots in and around the D. Aim is to lead, receive and hit in the most efficient way.
1. Attacker leads to right top of D. Receives ball in front of right foot, pushes ball towards goal (one touch if possible) and hits as soon as the ball is in the D.
2. Attacker leads to the top of the D, receives the ball in front of left foot, pushes ball into D towards goal with backstick and hits with back stick.
3. Attacker leads in an arch towards the spot and deflects ball with back stick.
Important to optimize the way the attacker picks up the passes, by pushing the ball into the right direction straight away it minimizes the amount of touches and time needed to get into the right position to have a shot.
By leading towards the spot for the deflection it's important that the attackter leads in an arch to change direction to lose a defender.
