This drill is used to improve slapping or hitting ability. Two balls starting at either end of the diamond must be slapped or hit across the pitch to the teammate on the ball carrier's right. In the middle, the reciever must control the ball, turn towards the other end of the diamond and slap the ball to the player waiting to recieve it. The ball should keep going round the diamond as fast as possible.
To slap the ball a low body stance must be attained and the stick must be swept across the pitch until it hits the ball. The stick should be as horizontal as possible and the ball should be hit by the hook of the stick although hitting it slightly further up can be used for a disguised slap.
