This drill is going to be about an overload situation where we try and allow our superior numbers in attack and the ball speed to do the work for us. Set the Game up as shown in the diagram. The three attackers on the outside of the D are not allowed to entre the D but can be passed the ball at any time. The three attacking players in the D are looking to find space away from the defenders and moving the ball so as to create space.
The idea of this drill is to get the ball moving fast to create space to get a shot off. However this means we need to be thinking about where the ball is moved to, which may well include passing backwards.
