Always start with/reset to a defenders' 16-yard free hit.
Reset whenever a goal is scored, or when the defenders carry/pass over the 1/3-pitch mark (in yellow).
Call a team huddle every 2-3 rounds and prompt teams to reflect on their performance (see questions below).
Swap the teams over after [10] balls/attempts to outlet.
Variations/progressions:
The aim is to move ball out of defence to safety ("outlet").
Emphasis should be on defenders reflecting on how to do this.
Ensure that off-the-ball players in the defenders' team are moving to space, to create passing options for the free-hit taker.
Encourage attacking team to keep it match-like and put pressure on defenders.
