Setup
Players are split into two possession triangles (by squad) and numbered.
Two games running concurrently.
Possession:
V1 teams score by linking (x) passes
V2 teams score by carry or pass to corner goals within their triangle.
Breakout Attack: each player has a number, when their number is called they leave their playing area to join the middle pitch - coach plays ball in and they look to attack on goal. 2 points for scoring a goal.
V1 Designated blue attacking and red defending (swap) after full number cycle.
V2 First team to get to the ball and gain possession in the middle section can attack on goal,
[defending team in the centre aim to pass/carry over 25m]
Possession box:
Recognise how the space changes when 4 players are removed from the triangle to the middle.
V1 quick passes to score
V2 - is one corner harder to score in than the other? Do we need to be more offensive/defensive depending on which side?
Breakout Attack:
Use the space - lots of room for 1v1 attacks.
Create 2v1 opportunities. Shots and deflections
