What should I do to have a consistent kick for a try conversion?
Hi Takayuki,
First stage is to place the ball using the seems to line the ball up towards the target. Have the ball leaning forward slightly to help with the connection when you strike the ball.
The next stage is to determine where is a comfortable distance and angle from the ball to start your approach from. Pace out the distance so that you can replicate it every time for consistency.
When approaching the ball, keep the chest pointing directly towards the ball. This is an easy indication to maintain consistency when kicking.
Look to strike the ball about a third of the way up with the knuckle of the foot for maximum power. Follow through with your foot on the same line as the target to try and maintain consistent accuracy.
I hope this helps!
thanks tom
