Does anyone know where I can find blueprints/plans to build a scrum sled?
Hi Chris, Cant find "blueprints" but maybe these 2 links are of use:

a bit of fun: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKQrDs0egag
I would check out the legislation aspect before launching into a spend on materials etc I would imagine you would have to be very careful what can and cannot be used given the chances of injury (and potential claim against you)! :-)
We ( a technical high school in Japan) built our own, following the needs we identified (no grass on the pitch etc.). We made some rough sketches, then asked a former student (architect) to draw it up, and then another former student (who had his own small company) to make it. We sent the drawings to the Japan RFU, and obtained their approval. That way worked for us, and we had exactly what we wanted, at a very reasonable price.
Chris, We are in the initial stages of designing and building a scrum sled. I've found many designs and variations but we created our own based upon an Srumijer sled ([link removed] [email removed to prevent spam, please use comments] for some basic drawings/plans that may set you in the right direction. The pads are not included but you can make those yourself.
My link was removed but the sled is for sale at rugbyimports.com. You can see some pics there.
