Striking ball on the reverse side

Striking ball on the reverse side

My players never seem to be able to execute a successful reverse stick shot when in the D. What are the key coaching points/technique for this skill that I should be highlighting to them?

Another good tip to add to that great video for players who get a lot of back of the stick calls, is to have the hook of the stick pointing towards the ground a bit before you start your swing. Because when you swing down on the ball your arms naturally turn the stick and then you don't get proper contact on the ball, with the side of your stick.
