Target oriented practice for kids

Fun games are a good way of keeping your younger players engaged and focused on the sport. That’s why with this plan we have a variety of target-hitting drills, to make your training session fun.

Your player’s accuracy will improve through the use of targets, setting them the test of hitting the right target. You can even set a little competition between your players and see who can hit the target(s) the most amount of times!

This session will improve your player’s accuracy, coordination and movement when hitting the basic ground stroke. It’s good sometimes to not use the racket and we have a throwing rally to get your players moving the correct way, when they go to hit a ground stroke.

You can add variation with more use of top spin as they progress, or even set a harder target for them to hit. It’s essential that your players have the right footwork when hitting a forehand or backhand, and this plan will work on improving their balance.
