In this session, we put emphasis on ensuring that your players get off to the best start by focusing on the start shots, such as the drop shot and return. By improving your player’s ability to connect their starting shot with other shots, they can build tactical patterns against the opposition - get your player on the front foot!
What’s in the Session?
Make sure your players are fully warmed up and ready for the start of the session, before beginning to work on the serve and run technique, working on hitting the return down the line. Continue through the session to work on areas such as following up a return with a drop shot, cross-court shots and making the opposition run for the ball across the court.
By linking these shots together, your player can begin to develop a tactical knowledge to use to their advantage and with a good start, they can get ahead in their game. Set your players towards victory!
