This week we're working on how you as a coach can train a large group of players and keep them busy at all times.
It can be hard as a coach to train more than one player at a time, particularly when there are specific skills you want to work on with a certain player. So this week we've got plenty of drills to keep players busy, quickly rotating and constantly keeping players on their toes!
What's in the Session?
Packed with fun video drills, we have a few fun warm up drills that all players can do, and you can turn into a mini-competition, before getting stuck in with rallying drills, working on consistency and placement. We also work on serving and returning, before finishing with a fun, competitive game.
Tennis demands a unique combination of endurance, power, agility, and flexibility. Physical preparation determines how long careers last and how players perform when it matters most.
Ecological dynamics is transforming tennis coaching. This constraints-led approach develops adaptable, creative players who can solve problems in competition, not just execute drilled patterns.
The one-handed backhand is becoming rare, but when executed well, it remains one of tennis's most elegant and effective shots. Is it a dying art or a tactical advantage?
